Interestingly, Medium opened a program for writers that are not stars, but have a significant number of followers, to pay a little sum (at least 200 dollars if I'm not mistaken) every month. It's clever, but the criticism remains: We are moving from the collective to the individual, from content curation to something else - when we need curation more than ever.
