Bolsonaro could, indeed should, be tried for treason

Bolsonaro actually went to an event with ambassadors (thus foreigners) to complain about the electoral system of his own country. Yes, the president of Brazil went to cry his heart out about the Brazilian electoral system to representatives of foreign countries.

Bolsonaro’s “luck” is that he doesn’t effectively expose any flaws or vulnerabilities of our electoral system to foreigners, after all it’s all just imagination of that sick and psychotic head.

But Bolsonaro has chosen to invent vulnerabilities in our electoral system and present them to foreign dignitaries. That is something inconceivable. Whether or not it is something fabricated by him, the fact is that he believes (or says he believes) that vulnerabilities exist and he willingly exposed them to representatives of foreign countries — many of whom may not exactly be friends.

And even if they are, it is simply unacceptable.

Bolsonaro’s inconsequence puts the country at risk — that’s to mention a single case, as this loathsome figure is responsible for the deaths of thousands of people during the pandemic and for various hate crimes.
